Quick-Stepping

This photo was taken one evening in Canyonlands National Park a few years ago. Hubs had just dragged me all over creation in search of God knows what. While I stopped to take a picture of more rocks, he decided to go out onto them. I didn’t realize he was crossing onto the boulders until it was too late to get a photo of him in mid-air. Still, I’m fond of the yogaish position he displayed upon landing.

  1. He’s lucky to have a wife that will follow him most anywhere. Me, not so much.

  2. Oh, I definitely don’t follow him everywhere, but sometimes I do push myself to go farther than I might have otherwise, because it’s good for me — especially physically. At other times, I take a different route or stay back while he explores, choosing to take in the scenery, write in a notebook, read, poke around on my own, or take pictures. It works well for us. :-)

  3. You guys are high up there. I would have to borrow one of those big ole telesphoto camera to capture his wanderlust.

I like you notion of “picture time” for rest to catch my breath.

    Great photo opp.

  4. Yeah, Dru, it’s quite the descent to the bottom. The good thing is that it was a rim walk, so there was little elevation gain or loss.

  5. Awesome!very nice :)
