Claret cup cactus blooming within the arms of a juniper. A serendipitous discovery.
It’s almost as if the cactus is free to bloom in the shelter of those arms. Lovely photo!
Thanks, Morningjoy! I couldn’t help but wonder if the cactus grew so large because of the protection of the juniper.
